This September festival is part of PrideLake's mission to create a safe, inclusive space for LGBTQ+ members and allies—a place where queer stories get told, current issues get discussed, and self-expression is celebrated. Founded in 2019, this nonprofit has grown into a cornerstone event that celebrates community members, allies, and local leaders with inclusive programming and advocacy. It's where a smaller city's queer community gets to be fully seen and celebrated.

Atlanta Pride's kickoff celebration transforms the Georgia Aquarium into an underwater dreamscape of shimmering lights, ethereal décor, and pulsing music—all set against thousands of mesmerizing aquatic creatures. It's the kind of night that sets the tone for the season: connection, celebration, and pure euphoric energy with thousands of people who get it.

Start your Pride weekend grounded and present — an all-levels yoga class on the dock at Piedmont Park, led by the Well(Being) Collective Atlanta. Bring your mat and join a community moment before the festivities kick off. Saturday, October 10th at 9:00 AM at Dockside (behind the visitor center by the 12th Street gate).
