Saturday Drag Show

Albatross Bar's weekly Sunday ritual: kick things off at 1pm with $5 mimosas and bloody marys, then settle in as Diana Carfire hosts drag bingo at 3:30pm with real cash prizes on the line. Cheap drinks, a fun crowd, and a Sunday afternoon that always turns into an evening — every week at Albatross.

Albatross Bar is Astoria's go-to queer hangout on 24th Avenue, and Sunday is the day to be there. Skinny brunch starts at 1pm, $5 mimosas and Bloody Marys run until 6pm, and bingo kicks off at 3:30pm with Diana Carfire calling the numbers for a cash prize. Grab a seat, get a drink in hand, and you'll be the one pretending you didn't hear the number you needed.

Jacklynn Hyde hosts karaoke every Monday night at Albatross Bar, turning a random weeknight into a low-pressure, high-fun ritual. Grab a cheap drink during 2-for-1 happy hour from 5-8pm, then hit the stage (or cheer from the crowd) starting at 10pm. Regulars and newcomers alike belt out everything from power ballads to guilty pleasures — stick around as late as you want since the bar stays open until 4am.

Tuesday nights at Albatross Bar belong to Gilda Wabbit and a room full of people who know how to have fun with a bingo card. Expect quick-witted calls, comedic commentary, drink specials all night, and a genuine cash prize on the line. It's a low-pressure, high-energy midweek reset that keeps regulars coming back week after week — grab a card, bring your friends, and see what happens.

Hump Day just got better at Albatross Bar. Request any music video you want and settle in for a night that's equal parts jukebox and community hangout, drawing the bears, ladies, and neighborhood queer folks of Astoria/Queens. It's a laid-back weekly gathering where the drinks are good, the crowd is familiar, and the soundtrack is whatever you choose.

Friday nights at Albatross Bar kick off with Jacklynn Hyde's drag show "Primetime" at 9pm, then roll straight into karaoke that doesn't stop — an endless song catalog and a crowd that knows how to have fun. Grab a drink during happy hour from 5-8pm, and keep an eye out for Albatross IDOL Season 3, coming soon with a $300 prize for the winner.
