Wild Wednesdays

Thursday nights at Rise Bar belong to Zetta Jones, hosting a drag-and-comedy show that thrives on unpredictability — boys, drama, looks, and laughs, with DJ Steve Sidewalk keeping the energy moving all night. Show starts at 10:30pm.

Every Thursday night at Rise, Cut Throat Karaoke turns the bar into a high-stakes sing-off hosted by Emily McNamara with DJ TK behind the decks. Singing starts at 10:30pm and the vibe is part performance, part competition — you're here to shine, and the crowd will absolutely let you know if you do. It's the kind of weekly tradition that keeps people coming back: a packed room of people who can actually sing, a host who keeps things sharp and fun, and enough adrenaline to make a Thursday night feel like an event.

Freedom Fridays at Rise, every Friday at 859 9th Avenue in Hell's Kitchen, with DJ John Marto on the main room, DJ Susan Levine on the main room every third Friday, and VJ Paul Leasure in the Shine Lounge.
