About this event
A rare literary conversation bringing French lesbian literary history to life. Mireille Best and Natalie Barney—two towering figures in queer women's writing—take the stage with three translators to explore their work, legacy, and what it means to translate desire and identity across languages and time. This is the kind of evening that reminds you why Giovanni's Room matters as a space for queer culture and intellectual life.
