Party

A 37th birthday party at Lone Star Saloon, the historic bear bar at 1354 Harrison Street in San Francisco's SOMA neighborhood. Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 7:00 PM. Bring your crew and celebrate with the bear community.

Bears

Rusty's LA Beer Bust is a Sunday session at Lone Star Saloon, the bear bar in San Francisco's SOMA neighborhood that's been going since 1989. Grab a cold one, settle in with the bears, and make the most of the heated patio and the pool table. It's a laid-back way to end the weekend, and you won't need a plan beyond showing up.

Social Events

Monday nights at Lone Star Saloon belong to knitters and crocheters of all levels — whether you're already skilled or just want to learn. Bring your needles or hooks, grab a drink, and settle in with a room full of creative folks who actually get it. A low-key, welcoming weekly hangout to work on projects, swap techniques, and enjoy good company, often with DJ Bartender keeping the vibe going. Runs from 7pm until whenever the night takes you.

Community Focused

Bare Maximum is the Lone Star Saloon's signature bear community gathering — a night built for the guys who show up to celebrate who they are, surrounded by their people. Expect a packed room, good energy, and the kind of welcoming vibe that's made this event a regular fixture in San Francisco's bear scene.
