The Connie Norman Empowerment Center is the first facility of its kind nationwide serving trans and non-binary individuals in Los Angeles, located at 1001 N Martel Ave. Named after AIDS activist Connie Norman, it provides comprehensive resources, training, support, and medical services in a safe, welcoming environment. The center houses multiple trans-led organizations including FLUX, UWC, Trans Can Work, Mirror Memoirs, Invisible Men, Trans Chorus of Los Angeles, and Unique Point of Refuge, functioning as both a community hub and advocacy space.
