Gotham Knights Rugby Football Club is a Division III men's rugby club based in New York City, founded in 2001 as part of the Empire GU of New York and International Gay Rugby (IGR). The club is known for its inclusive approach to rugby, welcoming diverse athletes of all skill levels while proudly supporting the LGBTQ community and refuting negative stereotypes. The Knights are competitive champions, having won the International Gay Rugby Championship at the 2010 Bingham Cup in Minneapolis.
