Metro DC PFLAG

Metro DC PFLAG is a nonprofit advocacy and support organization serving the greater Washington, DC Metropolitan area, founded in 1983 to support LGBTQ people and their families. The organization distinguishes itself through comprehensive community support, educational resources, and active advocacy work to promote equality and break down barriers facing the LGBTQ+ community. Key features include multiple community groups for youth ages 12-17, parent and ally support networks, educational resources, and volunteer advocacy opportunities throughout the DC, Northern Virginia, and Montgomery County regions.
