The Oakland LGBTQ Community Center is Oakland's first all-inclusive, non-profit 501(c)(3) community center located at 3207 Lakeshore Ave in the Lake Merritt district, established in 2017. The center provides safe, inclusive spaces for wellness, connection, support, and empowerment through comprehensive services including mental health support, sexual health testing, youth programs, and support groups. Key features include crisis hotline services, food pantry assistance, transgender support programs, aging with pride services, and an upcoming alcohol-free cafe-styled social space called the 3rd Place.
