TQNC's monthly sewing skillshare brings together people of all skill levels in a space centered on LGBTQIA+ voices and experiences. Whether you're a seasoned seamstress or have never touched a sewing machine, you'll get a brief tutorial, access to basic machines and supplies, guidance from experienced sewing guides, and plenty of time to work on your own projects—or just learn something new. Bring a piece you've been meaning to alter, that elaborate Halloween costume, or just yourself and your curiosity.

An intimate discussion on polyamory and consensual non-monogamy through a queer lens, hosted by The Queer Neighborhood Council and Bisexual Resource Center in celebration of Bi+ Visibility Month. This is a space to dismantle hetero-mononormative stigmas and celebrate the diverse ways the community shows up for one another. All relationship dynamics welcome, provided they're rooted in consent.

Bring a project (that top you've been meaning to crop, pants to hem, or an elaborate Halloween costume) or come with nothing but excitement to learn. Experienced sewing guides will be there to teach and answer questions, and TQNC provides basic machines and supplies, though you may share a machine and a sewing buddy. All skill levels, all identities, all welcome.
