Chicago's LGBTQ+ community is this incredible mix of genuine people from all walks of life who've built something really special here—it's the kind of place where you can be yourself without any of the pretense you might find elsewhere. The city has this deep history of queer culture and activism that you can feel in the neighborhoods, and there's a real sense that everyone's welcome to bring their whole authentic self to the table. The scene here is beautifully diverse, with everything from laid-back neighborhood bars like The SoFo Tap and Roscoe's Tavern where you'll run into regulars who actually know your name, to spots like The Rabbit Hole and Replay Lakeview that have their own unique vibe and energy. What really makes Chicago's LGBTQ+ spaces special is that they feel like genuine community gathering spots rather than just places to go out—you'll find people actually connecting, dancing, laughing, and building real friendships night after night.

Queer Men's Group
A space to explore what it means to be a queer man — processing experiences, redefining identity, and reflecting on the things that shape how you move through the world. This is the kind of honest conversation that happens when you're in a room with people who actually get it.

Squabble Trivia
Monday nights at 2Bears belong to the trivia regulars who show up for free games, cheap drinks, and the kind of banter that makes the whole room laugh. It's unpretentious neighborhood bar trivia at its best—the kind of thing that keeps people coming back week after week.

RENT 30th Celebration
Musical Monday Show Tunes night takes on a special anniversary glow as Sidetrack celebrates three decades of Jonathan Larson's revolutionary musical. Expect the songs that defined a generation, a room full of people who know every word, and the kind of communal sing-along energy that only happens when a show means this much to this community.

Musical Monday: RENT 30th Anniversary with Anthony Rapp
RENT's 30th anniversary lands on Pride month's opening night, and Sidetrack is marking it with the real deal — Anthony Rapp, an original cast member, performing and sticking around for a meet-and-greet. The whole night is RENT sing-alongs woven through Musical Monday's usual Show Tunes rotation, running 8pm-2am. Doors open at 3pm, no cover charge.

Senior Pickleball
Tuesday mornings belong to the 55+ crowd at Center on Halsted — a low-key, social game of pickleball that's more about showing up and having fun than winning. It's the kind of regular you can count on, where the net is forgiving and the company is even better.

Kit Kat Club Sunday Brunch
Sunday mornings at Kit Kat Club mean drag brunches with the world-famous Kit Kat Divas, elevated food by Chef Chelsea Poe, and signature craft cocktails in that stunning Art Deco space. Kitchen closes at 3:30pm, so arrive early and settle in for a few hours of performances, good eating, and the kind of crowd that knows how to have a good time.

Happy Hour at Kit Kat Club
Meow for less on Tuesday afternoons — $8 glasses of wine, $10 martinis and craft cocktails, and $9 appetizers. Drink service starts at 4pm, food rolls out at 5pm. A solid reason to reset midweek without breaking the bank.

Sunday Tea Dance
Sunday afternoons at Kit Kat Club belong to the tea dance crowd — a six-hour stretch of dancing, cocktails, and the kind of energy that makes you forget it's a weekday tomorrow. The marTEAni special keeps things flowing while the dance floor stays packed from 4pm until close.
