Drag, Bollywood dance, poetry, live music, and unfiltered queer expression — all in one night, all for a cause. Aawaz is back, and this time every dollar raised goes straight to Nepali families hit hard by recent floods. This month's edition screens two essential episodes: Black Mirror's "San Junipero" and High Fidelity's "Good Luck and Good Bye"—a timely celebration of queer programming in the face of erasure. Jenny Fox, Chicago's Puerto Rican Princess, takes over Dorothy's basement for a four-hour dance marathon spinning puro perreo, cumbiatón, salsa, merengue, and more. Doors open at 6pm, Jenny's set runs 9pm to 1am, and the vibe is pure basement party energy — come ready to move. $10 cover at the door.

23-year-old Cincinnati DJ ACONST brings her crowd-driven energy to Dorothy for a night of open format beats—disco, house, 90s R&B, and everything in between. She reads the room and keeps people moving all night. $10 cover at the door starting at 8:30pm; doors open at 6pm.

Monday nights at Dorothy just got a whole lot more fun. Sapphic Serenade kicks off with Monday Musicals Power Hour (7-8pm) — belt out your favorite Broadway tunes before the full karaoke lineup takes over until 11pm. Free karaoke, a room full of enthusiastic queers, and cocktails that actually hit. E's hosting, and she knows how to keep the energy up. Sign-ups start at 6pm.

Four queer and trans poets read original work about love, heartbreak, desire, and community at Dorothy's intimate underground space. Bridget Gordon, Aunty Calhoun, Sam Herschel Wein, and Talie M Zrihen share sparkling and vulnerable verses, with books, chapbooks, and zines available after the show.
