A free writing space for queer and trans writers to commit to their craft this summer. Every Tuesday in July and August, Hive Mind Books hosts an evening of focused writing time, community, and support. Whether you're working on a novel, poetry, essays, or just getting words on the page, this is your place to show up and write alongside people who get it.

Thursday mornings at Hive Mind belong to writers who want to get work done in good company. Bring your laptop, your draft, your ideas—whatever needs attention—and settle in with other queer and trans writers doing the same. Coffee's good, the space is quiet enough to focus, and there's something about writing alongside people who get it that actually makes the work happen.

Real talk about the hot and chaotic joy of living outside the norm. Bad Poly is an open mic for queer, trans, and poly folks to share their messiest, most honest stories—erotic, romantic, confusing, contradictory, all of it. Hosted by writer Lily at Hive Mind Books, this is a fundraiser that celebrates the freedom and confusion of lives lived on your own terms. Bring a story, a poem, some tea, or just your full self.

Saturday nights at Hive Mind belong to the people who actually want to play — a room full of board games, a crowd that knows how to have fun without taking themselves too seriously, and the kind of low-key vibe that makes you want to stick around longer than you planned. Bring friends or show up solo; either way, you'll find a table.
