Sterling Bowen, a writer and astrologer woven into the Hive Mind community, hosts intimate new and full moon circles for queer folks who want to gather around something meaningful. Expect open discussion, reflection, meditation, and magic-making — rooted in no single tradition, so all spiritual backgrounds are genuinely welcome. Bring your laptop, your draft, your chaos—whatever stage you're in—and settle in alongside other queer and trans writers doing the same. Coffee's good, the space is quiet enough to focus, and there's something about writing in a room full of people who get it that makes the work feel less lonely.

A night of personal writing and shared stories — letters to your younger queer self, read aloud in a room full of people who get it. It's part memoir, part collective healing, part archive of the things we wish we'd known. Bring something you've written, or just come to listen and witness. Either way, you'll leave knowing you're not alone in this.

A structured speed friending event designed for queer adults 35 and up to make genuine connections in a low-pressure setting. You'll rotate through quick conversations with other attendees, perfect for expanding your social circle and finding your people. Hosted at Hive Mind Books & Coffee Shop, a welcoming community space in Bushwick.
