Every Tuesday in July and August, writers gather at Hive Mind to spend the evening actually writing—no pressure, no performance, just the quiet work of getting words on the page alongside people who get it. It's free, it's consistent, and it's the kind of low-key creative space that's harder to find than it should be.

Sterling Bowen, a writer and astrologer woven into the Hive Mind community, hosts intimate new and full moon circles for queer folks who want to gather around something meaningful. Expect open discussion, reflection, meditation, and magic-making — rooted in no single tradition, so all spiritual backgrounds are genuinely welcome. The kind of space where you can show up as you are.

Thursday mornings at Hive Mind belong to writers who actually show up and get work done. Bring your laptop, your draft, your chaos—whatever stage you're in—and settle in alongside other queer and trans writers doing the same. Coffee's good, the space is quiet enough to focus, and there's something about writing in a room full of people who get it that makes the work feel less lonely.
