Parent Support Group (Virtual)

A weekly AA meeting held at LGBT Network's Hauppauge Center, providing a safe space for LGBTQ+ people in recovery. These autonomous 12-Step groups follow the traditional AA format and are facilitated by community members. Meetings run 7:30–8:30 pm on Thursdays (closed on LGBT Network holidays).

Friday afternoons at the Q-Center are for hanging out in community — video games, board games, art supplies, and the chance to check in with friends new and old. Drop in anytime between 4pm and 6pm; no pressure, no agenda, just a safe space to be yourself.

A Friday night celebration of one of queer culture's most iconic films. LGBTQ+ youth and friends gather to experience The Rocky Horror Picture Show together—the music, the campy humor, the message that there's no one right way to be yourself. Come as you are or dress up; either way, you're in the right place. Part of the weekly Friday Night Out program, a safe space designed for connection and self-expression.

The monthly Monday gathering for LGBT folks 50+ that's become a real anchor for the community on Long Island. This month's focus is scam prevention and awareness — practical, important stuff — but the real draw is the people. Two hours to connect, share stories, and remember you're not alone. Meets in person at the Hauppauge center from 11am-1pm; bring refreshments to share if you'd like.

Whether you're a serious gamer or just looking for an excuse to hang out with people who get it, the vibe is welcoming and the games are the real draw — expect everything from classics to newer stuff that actually requires some brain power.
