Cut Throat Karaoke

Every Thursday night at Rise, Cut Throat Karaoke turns the bar into a high-stakes sing-off hosted by Emily McNamara with DJ TK behind the decks. Singing starts at 10:30pm and the vibe is part performance, part competition — you're here to shine, and the crowd will absolutely let you know if you do. It's the kind of weekly tradition that keeps people coming back: a packed room of people who can actually sing, a host who keeps things sharp and fun, and enough adrenaline to make a Thursday night feel like an event.

Thursday nights at Rise Bar belong to Zetta Jones, hosting a drag-and-comedy show that thrives on unpredictability — boys, drama, looks, and laughs, with DJ Steve Sidewalk keeping the energy moving all night. Show starts at 10:30pm.

Rise's weekend drag brunch is the kind of daytime celebration that gets the Hell's Kitchen crowd out of bed — rotating drag performers, craft cocktails, and two seatings (12:15pm and 2:30pm) so you can pick your vibe. Expect high-energy entertainment, good food, and a room full of people ready to have a genuinely fun Saturday or Sunday.

Sunday afternoon tea dance at Rise Bar with DJ Steve Sidewalk and DJ Paul Leasure spinning from 5pm to 10pm. Drink specials run until 9pm and bar bites are available all night — a low-key, reliably fun way to ease into the evening with good music, good people, and dance floor energy that keeps the regulars coming back.

Every Sunday at 10:30pm, Rise Bar becomes the place to be—hosted by the legendary Marti Gould Cummings and Chicky Gorgina, with DJ Nesto keeping the energy infectious. It's the kind of weekly ritual that builds a real crew: the same faces, the same energy, the same commitment to having an absolutely ridiculous good time. If you're looking for a Sunday night that actually feels worth staying up for, this is it.
