First Wednesday of the month, Eagle Players brings new work to life—playwrights, actors, songwriters, and performance artists reading fresh scripts, trying out new material, and workshopping ideas in front of a room that actually gets it. Writers: bring copies of short works to submit or read yourself. Performers: debut new pieces. Everyone else: show up, watch something real happen, and drink while you're at it.

Meet the SF K9 Unit pups and their handlers at an afternoon hangout that's part social, part furry fun. Bring your own pup or just come to pet someone else's — the Eagle's got plenty of space and a genuinely welcoming crowd.
