Doggy Days

Fridays at the SoFo Tap belong to GRRR — Chicago's longest-running weekly bear night for the big, the hairy, and the ones who love them. No cover, no attitude, just a packed room of regulars and newcomers who show up week after week. Enjoy a serious beer selection, a lively dance floor, and a dog-friendly patio from 9pm to 2am, every Friday.

Every Sunday from noon to 3pm, SoFo Tap keeps it simple: free hot dogs, cold drinks, and a relaxed neighborhood hang. No cover, no pretense—just a solid reason to stop by, grab a bite, and settle in with the crowd for a proper Sunday at this bear-friendly local favorite.

Sunday nights at SoFo Tap belong to anyone brave enough to grab the mic. Hosted by Rhett Butlah, Bearaoke is a karaoke night where the energy is high, the crowd is genuinely supportive, and nothing's off limits—country, power ballads, showtunes, whatever you've got. Free entry, 9pm to 1am, in the heart of Chicago's bear bar scene. Just bring confidence and a song in your heart.

The SoFo Tap's weekly Monday reset — log off, shake off the work week, and settle into $5 You Call It drinks while 90s and 00s music videos play all night long. Free entry, low-key neighborhood-bar energy, and open from 5pm to 2am, every Monday.

Every Wednesday, the bears and bear lovers take over The SoFo Tap for two hours of trivia that actually tests your brain. Grab your team and compete for first, second, and third place prizes, with new raffles every week keeping things fresh. Free to play, first come first served — a reliably fun, welcoming midweek hangout with a crowd that shows up ready to win.
