Wellness Programs

A gentle Friday morning class designed for bodies of all abilities, blending meditation, breathing techniques, and mindful movement. Each session meets you where you are—no judgment, no pressure—and introduces accessible stretching and healthy movement strategies. Wear comfortable shoes or socks and show up as you are. Offered hybrid: in-person at The Center or join via Zoom.

Mental Health Services

A monthly 60-minute creative meditation workshop blending mindfulness exercises with expressive arts to cultivate self-compassion and emotional awareness. Led by artist and healing facilitator Quána Madison, you'll explore practices for well-being and express your inner experiences through art-making. Sponsored by Colorado Artists in Recovery, this workshop welcomes all who want to nourish their creativity and mental health.

Community Focused

News Flash is a regular gathering for West of 50—the Center's community for LGBTQ+ adults 50 and older. It's a chance to connect with peers, stay informed, and be part of a community that gets it. Held Friday afternoons at the Center on Colfax.

Community Center

The Center's semi-annual clothing swap is a chance to find gender-affirming pieces or refresh your fall wardrobe without spending a dime. Browse what others are trading, grab what works for you, and if you've got clothes to share, donations are welcome starting Monday, October 5th — just make sure they're clean and in good shape. It's a straightforward way to build community while keeping clothes in circulation.

Community Center

A Saturday morning gathering for sewing, crafting, and conversation at The Center. Bring a project or start something new — the Center provides sewing machines, needles, thread, and basic supplies. It's a low-key space to make things, connect with other crafters, and enjoy a couple hours of creative time with your community.

Community Focused

Bring your stories, documents, and oral histories to this ongoing community archive session. The Colorado LGBTQ History Project meets to collect and preserve the voices of LGBTQ+ Coloradans — you'll connect directly with archivists, see how materials get cataloged, and learn where your contributions go. If something doesn't fit their collection, they'll help you find the right home for it. Two hours to be part of documenting our history.
