Community Focused

Queer Conversation is the weekly online group from Queer Asterisk, the longest-running group in their lineup and now meeting on video every Thursday. It's a queer collective care space where you can talk, listen and feel less alone, and it's open to anyone, including folks outside Colorado. We meet 5:30 to 7pm Mountain, or 7:30 to 9pm Eastern. A free, peer-led drop-in support group at The Center on Colfax in Denver for trans women, trans feminine folks, and MtF individuals assigned male at birth. Come for peer-run social support, real conversation, and useful resources, no signup needed and walk-ins welcome. It runs Thursdays from 6 to 8pm in a confidential, safe space.

Trans

A free, online, peer-led support group for trans women, trans feminine people, and MtF folks who were assigned male at birth, hosted by The Center on Colfax in Denver. It's a confidential space for peer-run social support, real conversation and useful resources, held Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. Register through Zoom and you're in, no cost and no pressure.

Community Focused

Denver Queer Conversation is a weekly in-person drop-in group for LGBTQIA+ folks in Denver, held at Queer Asterisk's office near Franklin Street. Facilitated by counseling interns and therapists, it's a therapeutic community space with mindfulness elements where you can explore your identities, emotions and ideas, and have real conversations about queer experiences. Topics shift each week. Open to adults 18+, and donations of $5-15 are suggested but never required.

Comedy

Read the Room is a standup-meets-drag comedy show upstairs at X Bar in Denver, where sharp jokes and sharper looks collide. Expect quick wit, big energy, and off-script moments that make the crowd part of the act. It's $10, runs 8 to 10pm on October 22, and you'll want to bring money for tips.

Community Center

Movement is a weekly class built around meditation, breathing and gentle stretching, meeting you where you're at with your body. Each session brings in new breathing techniques, healthy movement strategies and more, so you can start easy and build from there. Wear socks or comfortable shoes, and join in person at The Center on Colfax or remotely over Zoom.
