HEAT's annual Transgender Wellness Retreat brings together trans, nonbinary, and gender-nonconforming folks ages 13-29 for a full day of connection, empowerment, and exploration. Workshops cover transitioning, makeup, mental health, and more—designed to build meaningful relationships with trans peers, strengthen resilience, and access resources in a genuinely welcoming space. A one-time workshop led by a licensed art therapist that uses creativity, conversation, and reflection to explore emotions, identity, strengths, and stress. This isn't about artistic skill—it's about the process and what you discover along the way. In an LGBTQ-affirming space, you'll take part in a guided creative activity and group discussion. No experience needed; just come ready to create, reflect, and connect.

Hive Mind Books & Coffee Shop

Thinking about getting tattooed on HRT or another gender-affirming care (GAC) process? Hive Mind Books & Coffee Shop in Bushwick is hosting an afternoon of tattoo consultations and T4Tatt interviews with Hatch Rabbit Tattoo, where you can ask questions and share your own experience. It runs 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, October 24th, 2026, and it's a low-key chance to get real answers over coffee.

Rise Bar

Rise & Shine Drag Brunch at Rise in Hell's Kitchen is the Saturday and Sunday brunch where the drag queens hit the floor and the mimosas keep coming. Seatings are at 12:15pm and 2:30pm, with hosts Zeta Jones, Inita D, Brenda Dharling, Holly Box-Springs, Black Widow, Izzy Uncut and Skye Walker, and music by David Serrano. Reservations are through the QR code on the flyer, so grab your spot before the diner fills up.

Saturdays at the Queens LGBT Center are all about SEXI—Safety, Education, Xpression, Identity. Drop in for HIV/STI testing, gender-affirming care referrals, and a genuinely welcoming space to hang out. Trans and gender non-conforming people of color get a $25 gift card when they test. Chill with others, play games, add to the video playlist, or just be yourself in a space that gets it.
