Trivia

LGBT Network Queens LGBT Center

Friday Night Out is where LGBTQ youth and their friends actually belong — a safe, welcoming space to chill, connect, and be yourself every Friday night. This week it's Halloween Trivia with Chris: test your knowledge of spooky movies, creepy creatures, costumes, and all things weird and wonderful. Bring your friends, wear a costume if you're feeling it, and get ready for laughs, friendly competition, and bragging rights.

Bookstore Cafe

Hive Mind Books & Coffee Shop

Queer Writing Night at Hive Mind Books & Coffee Shop in Bushwick is a dedicated block of quiet writing time with other queer folks. Bring your notebook or laptop, grab an espresso, and get words on the page in a cozy, chill bookstore setting. No critiques, no readings, just you and the community writing together. It runs Friday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.

Trans

Brooklyn Community Pride Center

BCPC's monthly swim night creates a safe, affirming space for trans and gender non-conforming folks to connect and swim as their authentic selves. The evening splits into two parts: a social hour inside the community center (7–8pm) followed by an hour in the pool with the facility closed to public visitors. All gender changing rooms are available, and you're welcome to wear whatever swimwear feels right. RSVP required.

Dance Party

3 Dollar Bill

Lez Get Physical is celebrating Peaches' birthday at 3 Dollar Bill in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and you're invited to the party of the year. Expect a packed dance floor, a crowd of queer women ready to celebrate, and a night built around birthday energy. It starts at 7pm on Friday, October 23rd, so get there early and claim your spot.

Drag Shows

Red Eye NY

The New Flesh is the scariest show of the year at Red Eye NY in New York City, blending body horror, drag, and puppetry into a celebration of perverse paraphilias. Expect dismemberment, mutation and oozing homage to the puppeteers and effects artists behind the greatest horror films, and it starts 7pm Friday, October 23 with tickets from $16.49. Featuring Vape Kid Jr, Selena Surreal and Mx Ology, it's one for the strong-stomached and the ones who love to squirm.
