Leather Political Education Reading Series

Trans

LGBT Network Queens LGBT Center

LITE is a weekly gathering for trans folks 18+ on Long Island—a space designed for community, support, and genuine connection. Show up, be yourself, and spend an evening with people who get it.

Leather

HUSH

Commando is HUSH's weekly Wednesday party with a clear dress code: come in your gear and let it do the talking. The room leans into leather, harness, and fetish culture, with a crowd that takes the theme seriously and makes it easy to feel at home. Expect a lively dance floor and a relaxed, unpretentious night in Hell's Kitchen.

bingo

Boxers NYC

Wednesday nights belong to Kamila Kockman's bingo — the Fire Island superstar keeps the energy high, the prizes flowing, and the crowd coming back. Grab the 2-for-1 happy hour until 9pm, then settle in for a night of drag bingo that doesn't feel like work. Get lucky, win the jackpot, and see why this midweek reset is a community favorite at Boxers NYC.

Trans

Brooklyn Community Pride Center

A weekly peer-led support space for trans and gender non-conforming adults (18+) to connect, share experiences, and support one another in a confidential, affirming environment. Whether you're navigating transition, community, relationships, or just need to be around people who get it, this judgment-free group meets every Wednesday evening, facilitated by Brooklyn Community Pride Center staff. Some sessions may be held via Zoom with registration required — contact tgnc@lgbtbrooklyn.org for details or alternate ways to join.

Video Bar

Albatross Bar

Wednesdays at Albatross Bar are the easiest kind of fun: stop by, pick any music video you want, and watch the room sing along. It's a relaxed weeknight tradition with the crowd to match, and the nights for Bear Nights and Lesbian Nights make Wednesdays a great reason to show up whatever your crowd.

Karaoke

Rockbar NYC

Gay Card is the required viewing party for queer cinephiles, and October's pick is Hocus Pocus. Settle in for the Sanderson sisters, a packed room that knows every line, and karaoke and shenanigans once the credits roll. Hosted by @jasonr0703 and @comawhite at Rockbar NYC on Christopher Street.
