Friction Fridays

Tea Dance

Club Cumming

A Romy & Michele themed afternoon dance party with Bright Light Bright Light spinning the decks. New theme every week, no cover charge — just show up at 4pm and dance.

Happy Hour

Pieces Bar

Saturday nights at Pieces Bar mean happy hour specials, strong drinks, and a room full of regulars and newcomers ready to have a good time. This West Village institution keeps the vibe casual and unpretentious — grab a friend, settle in, and let the neighborhood community energy do the rest.

gaymer

Rockbar NYC

Every Saturday at 3 PM, Arcade is your standing gaymer date at Rockbar — video games, card games, board games, and whatever competition Shane Cherry dreams up that week. No cover, no pressure, just a room full of people who actually want to play and have fun doing it. Prizes and contests keep things interesting; the crowd keeps it welcoming.

Cocktail Bar

Balcon Salon

Saturday afternoons belong to Gregory Buckheit, the singing bartender who takes over Balcon Salon with half-price drinks and full-voice charisma from 4 to 8PM. Expect sharp banter, strong pours, and a room that only gets more fun as the happy hour rolls on — a laid-back weekend ritual worth showing up for.

Cocktails

Red Eye NY

Vogue class with Jason Rodriguez, from FX's POSE and the House of Xtravaganza, at Red Eye NY on 355 W 41st Street. Classes run Saturdays at 5pm for $25, and drop-ins are welcome. Stay for post-class cocktails.

DJ Nights

Metropolitan

Saturday nights at Metropolitan turn into a living room party when DJ Reaubert and rotating guests take over with vinyl spins that feel less like a DJ set and more like your coolest friend's curated playlist. No cover, garden vibes, drinks in hand — this is happy hour that actually gets better as the night goes on.
