Lick It is the Powerhouse's monthly drink special night, hitting the fourth Saturday of every month from 9pm to 2am. Come for the deals, stay for the crowd — this is where the leather community gathers to unwind and connect in one of San Francisco's most authentic spaces.
Carne Fresca is Powerhouse's legendary Sunday afternoon meat market — a raw, unapologetic gathering where the leather and cruising communities come together. This is where the scene happens: real bodies, real energy, and the kind of authentic leather bar culture that defines San Francisco. Show up, connect, and experience what makes Powerhouse a cornerstone of the city's leather heritage.
Powerhouse's weekly Sunday tradition brings the leather community together for an evening of cruising, connection, and unapologetic leather culture. Shirt check nights are a cornerstone of the bar's authentic atmosphere — expect a raw, industrial vibe and a room full of people who know what they're here for.
Monday nights at Powerhouse get a creative spin with Glamamore and crew bringing drag, fresh beats, and live crafting to the dance floor. It's performance meets participation—expect rotating performers, solid DJing, and the kind of unpretentious vibe that makes a leather bar's drag night actually feel special.
Whorror is the Bay's monthly horror and alt drag show, landing on the first Wednesday of every month at the legendary Powerhouse. Expect theatrical performances, a crowd that lives for the macabre, and the kind of unapologetic energy that makes this leather district institution feel like home. Hosted by Polly Amber Ross and rotating performers who understand that drag and horror belong together.
First Saturday of every month, Juanita MORE! and Glamamore take over the Powerhouse stage for a full-fantasy drag makeover spectacle. They pick one lucky audience member and work their sacred drag queen magic—tucking, taping, shaping, gluing, stapling—until a complete vision emerges. Then comes the best part: they push the newbie onto the dance floor to strut their stuff in front of a packed leather bar crowd. It's messy, it's fun, it's pure drag theater.
