Comedy Open Mic Night

Free, confidential HIV testing from Resource Center's trained staff while you're out enjoying the monthly Cedar Springs Wine Walk. The Sexy Health Mobile Unit parks on the strip from 6–9pm, making it easy to get tested in a welcoming environment without missing the evening's festivities.

Thursday nights at the Eagle belong to anyone brave enough to grab the mic. Extra-long happy hour prices until 10pm, free pool and Switch games all night, and zero cover charge means you can show up, warm up your voice, and actually afford to stay. It's the kind of low-pressure, high-fun vibe that keeps people coming back.

Saloon Star is back for its 6th season — a live-singing competition where anyone can register and compete across any genre. This preliminary round feeds into the main event with $3,000 in cash and prizes on the line. Top 12 performers advance each night, so bring your best and be ready to impress the judges.

Thursday nights at the Eagle belong to everyone celebrating femininity, community, and self-expression — no cover, free parking, and a room full of people who get it. Fresh, fabulous, and genuinely welcoming.

Thursday nights at the Rose Room belong to the up-and-coming drag performers still hungry to prove themselves. It's where amateur night meets serious talent — rotating rising stars, raw energy, and a crowd that shows up to discover the next big name on one of the country's most storied drag stages. Free entry before 10:30 PM, then a modest cover keeps the night rolling with theatrical production and dance floor energy. First come, first served seating keeps it loose and unpretentious.

Friday nights at Pekers belong to Totally Twisted Karaoke — voted Best Karaoke in DFW by the Dallas Morning News four years running. The song selection is constantly updated with new releases, the rotation is fast and fair so everyone gets their moment to shine, and mics are disinfected between every singer. Come cheer on the crowd or grab the mic and be the star of the show.
