Read the Room is a standup-meets-drag comedy show upstairs at X Bar in Denver, where sharp jokes and sharper looks collide. Expect quick wit, big energy, and off-script moments that make the crowd part of the act. It's $10, runs 8 to 10pm on October 22, and you'll want to bring money for tips.

Community Center

Movement is a weekly class built around meditation, breathing and gentle stretching, meeting you where you're at with your body. Each session brings in new breathing techniques, healthy movement strategies and more, so you can start easy and build from there. Wear socks or comfortable shoes, and join in person at The Center on Colfax or remotely over Zoom.

The Schule of Drag is a two-weekend, intergenerational workshop for people who've never tried drag, maybe once for Halloween, or never set foot on a stage. You'll learn storytelling, stage presence, makeup, and costume, then get up for the Final Showcase in front of friends, family, and community. It's 21+ only, held at The Center on Colfax in Denver, and it's your chance to see who you might become.

Book Club

Find your next favorite book at Denver's LGBTQ+ Themed Book Club at The Center on Colfax. Instead of everyone reading one title, the group picks a new theme each month, so you choose a book that fits it and share why you loved it. It's a relaxed way to discover new authors, swap recommendations and connect with the community, running 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Community Focused

Overcoming Dental Fears is a Lunch and Learn at The Center on Colfax in Denver, led by pediatric dental assistant Kenyatta Richardson. It's a relaxed midday session for anyone who gets nervous in the dentist's chair, and you'll walk out with practical ways to make your next visit feel a lot less scary. It runs 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, all ages welcome.

Community Center

A free, drop-in, peer-led support group for adults who identify as transgender or gender diverse, held in person at The Center on Colfax in Denver. Expect peer-run social support, real conversation and useful local resources, with no signup and walk-ins welcome. It runs the third and fourth Saturdays from 12:30 to 2:00 PM, and you must be 18 or older to attend.
