Every Tuesday in July and August, Hive Mind Books hosts an evening of focused writing time, community, and support. Whether you're working on a novel, poetry, essays, or just getting words on the page, this is your place to show up and write alongside people who get it.

An hour of quiet reading time in a space that gets it — bring your own book, settle into the cozy bookstore, and actually finish that chapter you've been meaning to get to. Coffee and tea are $1 off, books are 10% off, and the vibe is pure low-key community. No pressure, no performance, just readers doing what readers do.

Bad Poly is an open mic for queer, trans, and poly folks to share their messiest, most honest stories—erotic, romantic, confusing, contradictory, all of it. Hosted by writer Lily at Hive Mind Books, this is a fundraiser that celebrates the freedom and confusion of lives lived on your own terms. Bring a story, a poem, some tea, or just your full self.
