Sapphic Creative Writing is an in-person workshop series for sapphic writers of all levels, held at Hive Mind Books & Coffee Shop in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Bring a notebook and your half-finished drafts, and you'll get a space to write, share and get feedback from other queer women and femmes who love words as much as you do. It's a cozy spot to start a new piece or finally finish that one you've been sitting on.

Fascism and totalitarianism are on the rise, and this reading series is a place to slow down and think through them together. Drawing on the tradition of queer radical leather groups, we read, discuss, and question political ideas critically and collectively, with room for every perspective in the conversation. An open mic night for sharing poems, prose, and excerpts by writers you love — a chance to hear from the community and maybe read something yourself. Hosted at Hive Mind Books, the space where literary Bushwick actually gathers.
